Creation Care Community Fair

11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Drummondtown United Methodist Church is hosting the “Creation Care Community Fair” . WHI will be joining over 12 local green and sustainable organizations that will be setting up displays and activities.  There will be a petting zoo, free food, and lots of kids’ activities.  And, best of all, they will be working with Synergy Energy to offer a drop-off station for electronic recycling.

So take advantage of this opportunity to recycle your old computers, TVs, audio equipment, etc (major appliances like refrigerators are not accepted).  Let’s get out and support this inaugural “Go Green!” Shore event!  Call 757-787-2910 for details.

Open Labyrinth Walk

Take a moment out of your busy schedule to experience the peace of walking the Labyrinth overlooking the Barrier Islands.  The grounds at Cobb Island Station will be open to the public during the hours of noon until 6:00 pm. Visitors are welcome to walk the grass Labyrinth or the nature trails.

The Labyrinth can be accessed by walking around the building to the east lawn. For more information call 757-331-1925.

Intent Mastery Program with Toltec Seer, Dawn Zurlinden

July 17 - 19, 2009
Friday 7:00 pm to Sunday 12:00 pm

Join us for this amazing journey of personal change with Toltec Seer, Dawn Zurlinden.  Dawn has directly apprenticed with don Miguel Ruiz, author of The Four Agreements.   Dawn was encouraged by don Miguel and Barbara Emrys to carry on the teachings of the Eagle Knight Lineage and bring to it her own light. This weekend intensive is part of a planned series of weekends to experience the Intent Mastery Program where you will be offered an opportunity to learn about, align with and create with the power of Love, or Intent.  The result is a total, joyous, engagement with Life, and mastery over the content and direction of your life.

This weekend is the fourth session in the training program with Dawn.  New participants are welcome at any time.  Please contact us for information regarding attendance guidelines.  The remaining session is September 11 - 13.

Free Introductory Lecture with Becky Carroll, Monroe Institute Outreach Facilitator

Learn about The Monroe Institute and the benefits of Hemi-Sync technology.  Becky Carroll, Ph.D. is an Accredited Outreach Facilitator with The Monroe Institute and a licensed psychologist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner in private practice in Washington, DC. She will explain the patented Hemi-Sync® audio technology that is a cornerstone used to help listeners achieve expanded states of consciousness.  

Participants will experience Hemi-Sync® with a demonstration of the technology and a short meditation using stereo speakers.  In addition, Becky will explain what happens during the weekend TMI Excursion workshops and how Hemi-Sync® is used for applications ranging from meditation to concentration to sleep to pain management, among others.
