The WHI LogoThe World Healing Institute is honored to have the dolphin as our symbol. We respect and are awed by this ancient being, with whom humans have long had a deep connection. Humans are undergoing a paradigm shift, in which we are emerging into loving awareness, higher consciousness, and interspecies communication. We look to the dolphins as our mentors and models. The message of the dolphins is that it is time for humans to return to an alignment with our inner being, so that we will experience the flow of energy that connects us with each other and with other species and to return Earth to her former balance and glory. Dolphins are magnificent beings, who reside in our seas to bring healing, joy, and balance to our lives. World Healing Institute's Mission At World Healing Institute, we develop and present program structures and trainings which will harness the creative imagination—be it awareness of environmental issues, children’s growth and healing, or cutting-edge healing modalities. Through our programs, our goal is to give children, their caregivers, and other interested adults the means to access information in new ways to affect change within themselves and others. We want our participants to recognize and understand that the “miraculous” is an accessible new reality.
Our aim is to develop an Ecology of Wellness—to steadfastly help individuals to participate in ongoing transformation. We address solutions for healing the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual dimensions of our lives, and our children’s lives. Above all, we want to harness the courage to change—to move beyond our limiting fears, and to make changes which will bring us greater fulfillment, peace of mind, and enhanced self-esteem both individually and collectively. We hope through our programs to develop a “Passion for the Possible”, and a capacity for learning to “Live Our Greater Story”. For we recognize that we are living in a time of the most far-reaching and rapid change in human history. What we do with our lives and the choices we make is the difference in how our earth community evolves and thrives. At World Healing Institute, we recognize that we have the extraordinary within us, waiting to be released. In our connections with local and national communities, with healing practitioners, with scholars, and most of all with our children, we want to awaken the spirit of human connection and resilience, and our capacity for spiritual meaning, creativity, and joy. PhilosophyHuman beings are entering an important transition time for all humanity where life, its sustainability, and our collective service to life in all its diverse manifestations will be the uppermost priority all humans must now share, bringing us together as stewards and children of the Divine. The beautiful sites of World Healing Institute instill a reverence for life, and raise people’s awareness and resonance of this fundamental purpose we all have in common. At our facilities, one surrenders to the unsullied silence of the island's colorful environment or the peninsula’s pristine wilderness. Quiet spaces and times of deeper connections to ourselves, each other, and nature are important. This connects us with our spacious “being” nature—that part of us that resides in stillness beyond our constantly changing thoughts, emotions, and bodily movements. Our “being” nature is unaffected by all that happens within and around us. This innermost nature reminds us that we are Love, we are Peace, we are Joy, we are Compassion, we are Patience, we are Tolerance, we are Courage, we are Wisdom.
